This is the revolutionary E-scan, extremity MRI
scanner, and is the first of its type in the UK. It comprises an open magnet design which
in combination with quiet scanning, greatly enhances patient comfort, reduces anxiety and
eliminates the claustrophobic effects experienced in conventional, whole body MRI
scanners.
The
open design allows high quality diagnostic imaging from shoulder to fingers, from thigh to
toes. The open design also allows the technician or a family member to be in the scan
room, in close contact with the patient, throughout the examination.
A relaxed patient in a more natural environment allows more accurate
imaging and diagnosis. High quality diagnostic images. Patients can select appointments to
suit themselves. Urgent appointments can usually be arranged at short notice. Your patient
